Darning Service that is simple and easy. Just follow the steps below:

1. Add ribbons, elastics and mesh pointe shoe bag to your order ( if required) OR
2. Remember to include any ribbons and elastics you would like us to sew in for you
3. Check that you have selected ALL SEWING services required
4. Make your payment in the usual way (the postage is added on a later page)
5. Print your receipt off twice
6. Keep one copy for yourself and include one copy in your parcel with your soft pointe shoes.
7. Post your pointe shoes to ‘Darning Service’, Song & Dance, 71-73 Keighley Road, Colne, Lancashire, BB8 0QF

Our darning service can be used if you have brand new soft pointe shoes. We can also revive your old soft pointe shoes that may have become very worn. There is no job too big or too small!

We are happy to receive individual soft pointe shoes, or the whole classes!

All the shoes are darned by hand. This process takes approximately an hour per shoe. Each shoe is stitched by hand by one of our experienced team. The highest quality thread is used to ensure the darning lasts for many dance classes. The darning will then protect the satin on the tip of the shoes.

Sometimes soft pointe shoes may be called exam shoes. Don’t worry, they are the same thing.
